Any album that my Pod would have played for more than a tiny 50 number of times has registered memories in my heart. Not sure if everyone feels the same way.
I am able to recall an interesting instance when I was listening to the soundtracks from 'The Inception' today. This is what happened.
Few months back. Same year. I was to go to meet some of my relatives in Velachery, a suburb in South Chennai. Was listening to 'Mombasa' and kept walking in the streets of Vijayanagar and was literally blown away to realize that I got INCEPTED.
All the streets were exactly similar. I am able to recollect each and every frame. All the houses were symmetrical. Full volume, earphones and as I was walking, I just observed that the other pedestrians were just looking at me' staring into my eyes. Just had to take my eyesight away to notice that there were two stray dogs staring at me. Was I dreaming? Was I in a dream world filled with fake roads and fake living things? That experience was quite outstanding. Hans Zimmer deserves full credit for that.
I kept walking faster to notice that things were getting more intense. Every street on that stretch of 10 minutes from the railway station to my aunt's place was just forming an infinite loop according to me.
I was so excited for having realized the power of music and how much of emotions it can create.
